The Christmas Class is a festive feast designed for those who want to master BBQ techniques while celebrating the season with rich, comforting flavours cooked low and slow. Gather around the fire and learn how to create a show-stopping holiday spread, all cooked over flame and smoke, then enjoyed together around the table in true Christmas spirit.
You’ll prepare a stunning porchetta, slowly rotating on the Somerset Grill’s rotisserie until perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy within. On the Big Green Egg, you’ll master a mulled wine-glazed gammon and a dry-aged rib of beef, cooked to perfection with all the depth and richness of traditional Christmas roasts. The turkey crown, smoked gently on the braai, will be paired with festive vegetables, pigs in blankets, and a sweet seasonal dessert to round off the meal.
This class focuses on essential BBQ techniques tailored to festive flavours - perfect whether you're looking to improve your Christmas dinner or simply enjoy the warmth of cooking together over fire. Ideal for both beginners and seasoned grillers, it’s a hands-on celebration of good food, shared moments, and classic holiday cheer.
You will cook on a Big Green Egg, Somserset Asado, OFYR & South African style Braai.
Food & drink included. You will eat everything we make, and take home anything that is left!
